Mr Groove, one half of the infamous Portuguese duo Mr Groove & Vergas, started DJing and producing from a very young age. Spurred on by his love of such greats as Daft Punk, Roger Sanchez and Frankie Knuckles he never dreamt not so many years later these producers would be playing his music in their sets! A household name in Portugal, Mr Groove has recently been nominated for an award by Dance Club Magazine for “Best National Producer”, proving his reputation as one of the finest dance music producers around is one shared by all.
I Don’t Care About Tomorrow features singer, songerwiter and international performer Rae Ray on vocals. Landing somewhere between electro and progressive house, this is a club anthem for peak time consumption! There’s even bonus versions featuring rap vocals from Kids Of ’91, who wrote and performed on Roll Deep’s “Picture Perfect” single.
On remix duties we have the man that could easily be described as the king of anthemic Drum & Bass — Blame, who twists and manipulates Rae Ray’s vocals to fit seamlessly alongside the higher tempo and energy of his remake.
Siloet take things techier and bouncier with their Ibiza-styled tech-house mix. It may not be summer any more, but this is guaranteed to warm up those dancefloors through the winter months!
