Rue Duo – Klub

Wildlife 679-0

Rue Duo harvested worldwide acclaim with their previous singles “Set The Sun” and “Get On”. Their latest trick is the brand new “Klub”, accompanied by a superb dub version.

In October 2012 Rue Duo entered the electronic dance arena with their debut EP release “Set the Sun” on Wildlife, featuring the vocal talents of Sherelle McKenzie. Ever since that time, they have signed upcoming releases on labels such as Great Stuff, Nueva Deep and MEXA, while in the meantime they released their second title for Wildlife, called “Get On”. Every heavyweight name in house music picked up their output, leading to a rock solid reputation for Rue Duo. With their hypermodern approach of deep house with a hint of old skool, it goes without saying that this year will establish their name definitively, thanks to their own efforts of delivering crisp and undeniably soulful deep house productions.

For “Klub”, Rue Duo composed a track that is slightly darker and more ‘in your face’ then “Set The Sun” and “Get On”. Powered by a laid back BPM, the boys return to the deeper underground sound of genuine old skool while they let the bass line run freely. The subtle vocals on top of the mixdown add to the drive of the track, giving even the progressive DJs a perfect single for their live set. Whether you call it house, club, deep house or something else, “Klub” is another Rue Duo sure shot.
