Having recently released ‘The Notorious BIG – Another Verse (Metzop Remix)’ & ‘Warm Hands Take Me Away’, Metzops mixes things up a little with his latest release, adding some Drum and Bass flavor to his latest musical reappearance, ‘Not Defective’.
Influenced by a diverse range of artists from Adventure Club and Yinyues to Bakermat and Fred Falke, Metzop conveys emotion and shape it into his own brand of synthesised aural pleasure.Martin (Metzop) has also had the experience of working & touring with British indie band, The xx.
Metzop fuses contemporary sound with classical influence, showcasing his mindset and thought sequence, the skill and slick artistry and eclectic process he routes to during creation of his innovative sound. Golding uses his self-taught instrument skills nicely in conjunction with elements of chillout, Electronica, Drum & Bass and RnB, uniting a range of genres into one smart and extraordinary sound that is ‘Not Defective’.
This brand new release contains effective sampling, with Faith Evans’ beautiful vocals recycled throughout and wordplay taken from Homeland, all used to tell a story with intelligent direction. ‘Not Defective’ boasts tightly coiled production, with some striking chillout patterns and drum and bass flavor.
