Skilf is a North London based Rapper/Singer known for his heartfelt lyrics and distinctive flow.
He started out as a Garage MC at the age of 16 and honed his skills listening to Oldskool artists such as Luck and Neat and Heartless Crew, but quickly branched out to Drum ‘n’ Bass then Hip Hop proving his ability to rhyme over different tempos and sounds.

Since independently releasing his debut album ‘Original Visions’ in 2008, Skilf has received airplay on stations such as 1Xtra, BBC Introducing, BBC Asian Network and Kiss FM. He has shared stages with the likes of Pendulum, Ghostface Killah (Wu Tang Clan), Tim Westwood, Chipmunk, Taio Cruz, The Futureheads and many more.
His collaborative work spans from Dance music legend Ashley Beedle to Dubstep star Youngman, producers Agent X and Hip Hop talents such as Genesis Ellijah, Dizraeli and Supar Nova. Skilf is also part of Brighton based 5 piece collective Astro-Physics and has played with them at a number of different festivals and live events.
His forthcoming album ‘Second Thought’ is more upbeat and Dance based than previous with bass driven Electro/House beats, soulful hooks and bouncy, energetic flows. Second Thought will be dropping this summer through SOI Records following the release of debut single ‘Shuffle’ produced by Leeds based duo Stoxx & Hills.
