“More time we plan out what we wanna do with a tune before we start, but this one was more of a freestyle without a initial direction. It’s one of those tunes that was fun to make so it felt like it made it self.”
Unique West-Midlands’ production duo, TC4, consists of multi-instrumentalists Tom Calder and Kate Turley signed to DJ Target & Danny Weed’s “Pitched Up”.
Their debut Alpha EP was released on Logan Sama’s Earth 616 imprint a few years back, followed by the go-to grime cypher instrumental LaLaLa (VIP), infectiously vocalized live by everyone from Invasion Alert to OG’s, Boy Better Know to Tempa T.
TC4’s Something About You EP received additional support from the likes of DJ EZ, Majestic and became Sarah Jane-Crawford’s track of the day. Crack in the Road and All Things Go premiered the lead single from the EP with the quirky video being premiered by The Music Ninja.
