With the re-birth of interest in all things UK Garage it’s fitting that two of the legends of the original scene have come together to form a new collaboration to set the nightlife of London and beyond alight – all over again.
Scott Garcia is, of course, the man behind the all-time classic ”It’s A London Thing” and owner of the Kronik Music imprint. Sticky, meanwhile, launched the career of Ms Dynamite with “Boo!” and was seen by many as the missing link between UK Garage and the emergence of grime. Scott Garcia is signed to the legendary Ice Cream Records, while Sticky now finds his home alongside artists such as Wiley and Roots Manuva, at Big Dada Recordings. Both of these producers are also DJs of the highest order.
For this the first official Foundation E.P. the duo take it way back to the roots of rave culture with this “summer of love” inspired offering featuring two Acid House stompers to set the dance floors alight.
