Slime returns to blaze a trail with a new artist to the label in the form of Voice Hands Machine.
Founded by former DMC Scratch Champion DJ Kodh, the Parisian producer comes to the imprint after a string of impressive releases that combine skewed pop sensibilities with finely-tuned electronica, recalling the refined sounds of Hot Chip, Schneider TM and Bitpixel.
‘Cold Jam’ is a pitch-perfect pop song armed with a beguiling melodic touch and gossamer electronica flourishes that will capture your heart. Kodh drops an original vocal across the whole track as spiralling synths elevate the song higher with every play.
Finnish production duo Jack The Hustler rework the track with the vocals pitched up and a booming percussive exoskeleton that will make many a soundsystem sweat.
