Cellardore – Higher Love / Do I Keep Thinking

HRZ011

The 11th release in the Horizon catalogue comes to you courtesy of Bristol based producer Joe Sheldrick aka Cellardore.

“Nice deep sounds with a upbeat melodies to get dancing to. Do I Keep Thinking is a nice contrast with a darker tone.” Mizz Ruby

He might be making his debut on Horizon but Joe is no stranger to the limelight having previously received support from Rob Da Bank, had press in Mixmag and worked on remixes for Black Butter Records among many others back in 2011. After a break exploring other areas of music including having some of his more cinematic work used by Volvo for their ad campaigns Joe is back on the Dance music scene with an explosive bass heavy release that merges aspects of Breaks and Garage with heavy Bass & House flavours.

“Higher Love” builds with vocal and skippy drums before switching and unleashing a big bass heavy, head turning synth stab upon us which then effortlessly flows through the track as pads and arpeggios move in and out over the top. “Do I Keep Thinking” provides the atmosphere on this one as a dark flowing bassline is evident right from the off and continues on throughout the track as pads and pianos along with an intelligent and developing drum patterns provide the dynamics.

With his return to the scene just beginning their are set to be exciting times ahead for Joe as he looks to follow in the footsteps of many before him who call Bristol home.
