You know when you hear a mix, one that just plays every banging tune you can think of, in quick succession. And then you soon realise that each mix is bang on, and the effects being utilised only make the mix better? I’ve heard a fair few mixes just like that over the years, but most of them seem to come from this man.
Jack Swift likes to mix it up a little bit. He uses his CDJ’s & vinyl turntables and goes to battle when he steps up to the mix. He prides himself in his ability t squeeze as many tracks into a mix as possible.
For me? It’s his techinical ability. Some DJ’s chop & use effects, and it just sounds like EZ. But then there’s other DJ’s who know how to work the effects and they make the sound their own. Jack Swift is one such DJ.
